His professional focus is on efficient operations and strategic growth. He is known for his self-motivation and dedication and is committed to achieving excellence as an individual and a team leader. His leadership has been recognized with awards such as the “Industry Excellence Award” from the Sugar Technology Association of India, the “Best Executive Director” award from Bharatiya Sugars Ltd., and the “Golden Award” for Best Cogeneration Plant from SISTA. As the Founder and Managing Director of TruAlt Bioenergy Limited, he has positioned the company as a leader in sustainable energy solutions in India, driving initiatives in ethanol blending and CNG retrofitting across Karnataka. In addition to his role at TruAlt Bioenergy, Mr. Vijay Nirani serves as the Promoter of Nirani Sugars, where he has significantly contributed to the company’s growth over the past six years. Murugesh Shivapurrappa Hattikal is a distinguished professional with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He holds certifications as an Energy Auditor and Energy Manager from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Government of India, and as a Certified Boiler Operational Engineer (BOE) from Karnataka. With over 25 years of experience in the sugar industry, Mr. Murugesh currently serves as the Group Technical Director at M/s MRN (Nirani) Group of Companies. Since 2010, he has led significant projects, including the expansion of Nirani Sugars Ltd. from 5,000 TCD to 20,000 TCD and the establishment of a 700 KLPD Ethanol Plant. He has also successfully developed fully automated greenfield sugar complexes featuring advanced co-generation systems.

Mrs. Shreya Koujalagi graduated with a degree in Architecture from KLE Technological University, Karnataka, and has enhanced her education with a course in Trade, Development, and the Environment at the London School of Economics. Currently pursuing an MBA at Manipal Academy, she has a strong passion for innovative and sustainable design. Ms. Shreya oversees architectural designs for various projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. In her role in real estate development, she is involved in site acquisition and feasibility studies, ensuring thorough planning for market readiness. Additionally, she plays a key role in her family's engineering business, supporting management and strategic expansion while maintaining a focus on quality and effective project management.

Prof. Narendra Mohan holds a postgraduate degree in Sugar Technology from the National Sugar Institute, where he also received a Fellowship. With nearly four decades of experience, he has authored seven books and over 200 papers, making significant contributions to the sugar industry. As the former Director of NSI in Kanpur, India, he led advancements in sugar technology and education, focusing on transforming the sector into a clean and green industry through bio-chemicals, bio-products, and bio-energy. Prof. Mohan has played a key role in shaping policies such as price fixation mechanisms for ethanol and establishing minimum selling prices for sugar, significantly influencing India's regulatory landscape.

Ms. Udaya Reddy holds an MBA from ICFAI University and has over 20 years of experience in the automotive and cooperative sectors. As the Director of the Bangalore City Motor Owners Cooperative Society, she has transformed it into a leading provider of original spare parts. In her role with the Bangalore City Commercial Credit Cooperative Society, she promotes financial initiatives that enhance member services and support sustainable growth. Active in the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), Ms. Reddy advocates for policy and business development. She advises several automobile dealers, including Martial Motors, Android Motors, and Neo Motors, and contributes to Innomartial, a bio-science company.

Dr. C. Somasekhara earned his M.Com with distinction from Bangalore University in 1975 and began his career as a Commerce Lecturer at KLE S. Nijalingappa College. In 1982, he joined the Karnataka Administrative Services as an Assistant Commissioner after excelling in the KAS examination. His notable roles include Deputy Director of Food and Civil Supplies, Special Deputy Commissioner for Development in Bangalore Urban District, Secretary of the Karnataka Development Authority, and Managing Director of the Karnataka State Warehousing Corporation. As Director of the Karnataka State Agricultural Marketing Department, he implemented the Unified Market System, setting a national standard for agricultural marketing reform.
