Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Distillery & Ethanol Plant Incharge to manage our grain/molasses-based multi-feedstock bio-ethanol distillery. The role encompasses fermentation optimization, distillation efficiency, spent wash incineration boilers, and compliance with national biofuel blending mandates.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise continuous/batch fermentation, yeast propagation, and multi-pressure vacuum distillation columns.
• Ensure fuel ethanol supplies meet OMC (Oil Marketing Companies) purity and moisture specifications (99.8%+ anhydrous ethanol).
• Oversee Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system, MEE (Multi-Effect Evaporators), and decanter centrifuges for eco-friendly operations.
• Manage excise reporting, statutory documentation, and periodic petroleum ministry / OMCs inspection audits.
• Drive energy conservation, yield improvement, and steam consumption reduction initiatives.
Qualifications & Eligibility
B.Tech / B.E. Chemical Engineering or Post Graduate in Alcohol Technology (DIFAT / VSI)
